i) street ministry drop-in centre – a place to meet the homeless and those living on the streets
ii) PAWS animal welfare society – society to keep abused and abandoned aniamals
iii) sheperd’s centre – an orphanage with around 100 childrens
iv) kuala selangor nature park – a 600 over acres of mangroves and mudflats homes various wildlife.
i went for the kuala selangor nature park coz i like to close to the nature and itz more fun than others.. hehe.. i’ve volunteered to helps in mangroves clean-up (yeah.. to pick da rubbish in da mangroves and mudflats.. hehe) some other ppl were assigned to do painting, putting sinage, and park maintenece.. however, tat was raining in da morning, so we had to helps to clean up da hostel instead of enter the mangroves forest.. we hav 2 wait until 2pm 2 start picking up rubbish.. btw, tatz is shiok coz there are sticky muds everywhere due to the rain.. haha.. lucky we got boot given.. although tatz quite tiring, dirty, and kena mosquito bites kao kao.. but tatz a lot fun and i’ve learnt do not simply throw rubbish especially shoes (coz we had picked up donno how many shoes..lol)..
an unforgettable trip.. an unforgettable "breakfast" ever.. swt.. anyway, it din affect much to my good mood lar.. hehe..
we stayed at perhentian besar which is less "happening" than perhentian kecil (well.. tatz wat i heard.. btw, i’m a bit regretted din go to perhentian kecil..) but itz ok coz we r went for relaxing wat.. hehe.. da hotel facilities are good but juz the food needs more improvement lor..
yeah.. da snorkeling sessions were nice.. itz a tiring oso coz there are 6 spots in 1 day.. swt.. quite a lot of fishes there even mini sharks.. we’re not lucky enough to see sea turtle but itz shadow only..
ermm.. last year was redang, then langkawi, this year perhentian.. so, next year will be … … ???
